I am a Residential Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer.
I spent my formative years growing up in Yorkshire, just long enough to develop a life long allegiance to Leeds Utd. I attended Sandbach grammar school, leaving after taking A levels, in 1985. I have worked in the property profession since leaving school, starting as the office junior in a local estate agency, later qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor 'the hard way' via correspondence course and the RICS direct exams.
I joined bjb in 2001 to undertake residential survey and valuation work including; valuations for lending/mortgage, probate, matrimonial and expert witness purposes; Home Buyers Reports and condition surveys; development appraisals; and domestic energy assessments.
Away from the office I am married and father to twins. I have always been a keen sportsman having played for local football and cricket teams, I still play 5 a side football regularly and occasionally swing a golf club or cricket bat.
