I am a Commercial Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
Following an early career in retail management, business development and strategy for a national retailer, I returned to Stoke on Trent to embark on a career in property.
Since 1997 I have been involved with general commercial property agency, specialised sales and valuation of inland waterway property and businesses and identification and acquisition of commercial and residential development sites.
In 2001 I worked from our Cheshire Commercial office overseeing commercial agency and valuation instructions.
I currently provide survey, valuation and professional services advice on all types of commercial property and development sites throughout Cheshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands including valuation work in accordance with RICS Valuation Standards (the Red Book) for loan security, pre-acquisition valuation advice, asset valuations for taxation, probate and pension funds and as an expert witness in dispute resolution procedures whether pursuant to Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 or in connection with Arbitration or Independent Expert determinations.
Professional work includes dilapidation and condition reports, landlord and tenant negotiations, property search and acquisition advice. I also assist with the sales and letting of commercial property. My clients include lending institutions, pension funds/administrators, corporate bodies, RSLs, charities, developers and private individuals.
I am former Chairman of North Staffordshire RICS Matrics and I am currently Liaison Officer between North Staffordshire RICS and North Staffordshire RICS Matrics with specific responsibility for organising CPD events for local property professionals.
I am a member of Staffs & Shrops Land Rover Owners Club and Cheshire Land Rover Club.
