I am a Commercial Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
I studied Estate Management at University, graduating with First Class Honours in 1998 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2000. I have worked with various organisations in both private practice and industry and my work has taken me to most parts of the UK and abroad.
I joined Butters John Bee in 2004 as a Surveyor and was made an Associate Director in 2007. Working within the commercial team, I deal primarily with valuation, landlord & tenant, non-domestic rating and corporate recovery matters. I advise on retail, office, industrial and trade-related properties. I also have a specialist background in the minerals & waste and plant & machinery sectors. I regularly act as an Expert in dispute resolution procedures whether pursuant to the Civil Procedure Rules or in connection with Arbitration or Independent Expert determinations.
I am also a qualified Non-Domestic Energy Assessor accredited to BRE Global. I am able to prepare Commercial Energy Performance Certificates on all classes of commercial property under the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.
My clients include lending institutions, pension funds/administrators, corporate bodies and private individuals.
In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, rugby, snowboarding and motorbikes.
