I am a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer.
I have worked in the property profession since leaving school and joined Charles Butters and Sons back in 1982 as an office assistant/trainee surveyor. I qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1990.
I re-joined Butters John Bee in 2007 as a Residential Surveyor specialising in Residential Valuations for almost any purpose including Probate, Matrimonial, Tax, Mortgage Valuations and Development Valuations. As a Residential Surveyor I also carry Home Buyer Surveys and Property Condition Surveys.
More recently I qualified as a Domestic Energy Assessor and now prepare energy performance certificates (EPCs) for the inclusion in the Home Information Pack and for rental properties.
Away from the office I have a partner Kate and a young son Sam. My main hobby is playing and umpiring hockey matches for Leek Hockey Club. I am also actively involved in the running of the club and am a member of the clubs management committee.
