I am a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
After doing a History and Politics Degree at Keele University I decided to do a course which was more vocationally based by undertaking a BSc degree in Urban Estate Surveying at Nottingham Trent University. My first surveying job was at Stoke on Trent City Council where I spent seventeen years in their Property Services and Regeneration Departments. I left the City Council in 2005 to join Bruton Knowles at their Birmingham Office. The following year I joined Donaldsons (now part of DTZ), also at their Birmingham Office.
In January 2007 I returned to Stoke on Trent and joined Butters John Bee. My main work areas are commercial property management, residential and commercial compulsory purchase work and consultancy advice. I was made a Partner in June 2009.
I am married with two young children so I do not get much spare time but the time I do get to myself tends to be dominated by Stoke City.
